School Blessing

On the 9th of February, Hellenic Academy was able to host the “School Blessing” service in the School Chapel for the first time in two years!

Students filed into the chapel and our honourable Father George lead the service. Several members of the Hellenic School Board and the Greek community were in attendance.


Traditionally, at the start each school term, the pupils, the staff and the classrooms are blessed. Throughout the service, we were reminded about how blessed we are to be together as a family of brothers and sisters. We look forward to a fruitful term ahead.


This was a brand new experience for most of the Form 1 and Form 2 pupils. They were able to enjoy the coming together of the whole school body in the School Chapel. In the coming weeks they will also be able to take part in our weekly Orthros service.
