Practical learning in the Hellenic Academy Science department

What better way to learn than through practical experience? Form One Science students built hot air balloons, ascertaining that hot air is less dense than cold air. We also learnt that it is not as easy as it looks! This meant using our problem-solving skills to build an improved model that would achieve lift off!
