Makanaka Mawere – Captain of the Zimbabwe Triathlon Team in Morocco

Our 2022 Head Girl, Makanaka Mawere, captained the Zimbabwe Triathlon Team that participated in the Africa Triathlon Championships held in Agadir, Morocco from 24-25 September, 2022.

Makanaka finished fifth in the Women’s Under-19 Sprint; consisting of a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run, in 1 hour 15 minutes 44 seconds.

We are incredibly proud of Makanaka and celebrate her achievements!
