The Hellenic Junior teams travelled to Chinhoyi for the Lomagundi Chess Festival and achieved the following results:
Junior Boys: 1st place out of 18 teams
Junior Girls: 2nd out of 12 teams
As a result of their commendable efforts, our pupils won chess sets and chess clocks for the Academy.
Individual Achievements:
Junior Boys: Barry Kamanga won the Best Board 2 Prize Webster Gondo won the Best Board 4 Prize
Junior Girls: Tanya Mavingire won the Best Board 2 Prize
