Hellenic Academy Pupils participate in the inaugural International Committee for Cricket Academies

Ramah Sports Academy was invited to participate in the inaugural International Committee for Cricket Academies (ICCA) Championship in Nottingham, England being held from the 16th to 27th of July 2023.

Ramah Sports Academy will represent Zimbabwe at this prestigeous and first of its kind youth global tournament.

Support was sought from the Trust Schools who play cricket in Zimbabwe. Given the costs involved and the event taking place during the school term, support was limited.

Hellenic School was the first to fully support the initiative resulting in 66 percent of the travelling children being from Hellenic Academy.

The U13 Hellenic cricket coach, Cromen Zinyama will be coaching the U13 team on the tour. Blessing Mafuwa will coach the U15.

Ramah Sports Academy is a vibrant Sports and pathways Management Company whose main aim is to develop young sports players, create fair playing opportunities, scholarships and schedule tours for schools, clubs, academies and associations.
