As the Eisteddfod draws to a close, we are excited to report the following outstanding achievements in the Choral Section of the Festival. The Hellenic L6 Trio featuring Albert Sibanda, Anthony Marini and Mufaro Mukonoweshuro were awarded an Honours Grade for their charming Jazz number.
As the Eisteddfod draws to a close, we are excited to report the following outstanding achievements in the Choral Section of the Festival. The Hellenic L6 Trio featuring Albert Sibanda, Anthony Marini and Mufaro Mukonoweshuro were awarded an Honours Grade for their charming Jazz number.
The Senior Mixed Choir achieved an Honours Grade in the African Gospel Class and won the “NIAA Praise Cup” in the Western Gospel Section. With a score of 96% the Mixed Vocal Ensemble was awarded an Honours Grade in the African SATB Class. They also won the “NIAA a capella Cup” for the best Unaccompanied Western Choir and the “NIAA Ensemble Cup” for their rendition of “Make Them Hear You” taken from the musical ‘Ragtime’.
