Drama Eisteddfod
Hellenic Academy's Drama department competed in the annual Drama Eisteddfod, which was held at Prince Edward school.
This year, Hellenic Academy entered a range of candidates in the NIAA Speech and Drama Festival. This was on top of rehearsing for the school play “Whatever”, the Musical “Dream Girls” while writing Mock Examinations. Our students portrayed roles such as Ophelia from Hamlet, to Cecily and Gwendolen from the Importance Of Being Earnest and the tortured family from All My Sons.
Hellenic Academy also entered for a variety of poetry and prose performances and an Experimental Program based on the stimulus “Influence”.
Our students were awarded 7 Honors and 23 Firsts and were praised for their acting talents. Bravo to all those who competed!
