Debate
This past week, the Hellenic Academy Debate team competed at Chisipite Senior School in an inter-school tournament. We entered a team at each of the three levels (Junior, Intermediate and Senior). They all “debated” hard and, at the end of the competition, the Intermediate and Senior teams were declared the winners of their sections.

They all “debated” hard and, at the end of the competition, the Intermediate and Senior teams were declared the winners of their sections. The Debate Club is one of the school’s most established clubs and all pupils who join, share an interest in current and controversial topics that affect societies around us. A huge congratulations to Andrea Mafirakurewa, who won Best Speaker for the Intermediate debate.
